I am In a nutshell, I am an introverted, gentle soul just looking for company. [haha] The following should give you a good sense of who I am. As you might have noticed, I am from Stellenbosch. I have lived in this part of South Africa all my life. I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively throughout South Africa but I have never been overseas. Importantly, my Christian faith stands central to who I am and I am quite conservative in most of my views. I am in a charismatic church and I believe the Bible and follow it as best I can But do not be put off by this. I love a good discussion and I like balanced arguments, as long as they don't become heated. I have been known to play devil's advocate. To me, there is black and white, but there is also grey areas. I come from a strong academic background and yet I am not that intellectual. I don't read as much as I should. I am creative, patient and loyal. I have compassion and sensitivity. My weaknesses tends to be laziness, lack of confidence and I sometimes lack the discipline to stick to my goals or routines. I get bored or frustrated. Helping people is my passion. I studied social work but I am not working in that field at the moment. I will be honest and say I do not know where I am going but I am considering many options. I have diverse interests and in everything I tend to favour the classical. I love all forms of art. I love nature and love walking in a garden or hiking up a mountain (as long as it is not too difficult). I enjoy cooking and I eat almost anything with a few exceptions (such as tripe or most soy products). I love most games and sport (except extreme sports). My love language is quality time and although I am an introvert, I like spending time with people. I like social sciences, philosophy and especially history. I can talk about history all day. I am initially looking for friendship, maybe more. With social distancing and lockdown going on, I am considering online options for now. Anyone is welcome to contact me.
