Music lover and guitar nerd. I'm an old hippie at heart that appreciates respect and honesty. I fell in love with North Carolina after moving here from Ohio 32 years ago with my family. Love having the beach and the mountains just a couple of hours away. I’m a bit of a homebody but believe in keeping fit and staying active. My plan to become a professional musician failed miserably when real life intervened. Listening to and playing music is still a big part of my life. Started my attempt to play guitar a couple of years ago. After all, most of my early life experiences occurred to music in the 60’s and 70’s with the best bands playing in the background. Music is a form of emotional expression in my life. Some of my current favorite groups and musicians are The Allman Betts Band, The Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Marcus King Band, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Lucinda Williams, The Highway Women, Jason Isbell, Billy Strings, Mary Chapin Carpenter, James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt. Looking for friendship, companionship, fun and a lot of great music.While I enjoy dressing up when the occasion demands it, I'm a jeans and t-shirt type of gal. There are multiple activities I've missed the past 6 years. 1. Attempting to play pool. 2. Learning how to golf. 3. Sitting on a lake with my fishing pole in the water hoping for a bite. 4. Heated discussions about the state of NFL football and ACC basketball. 5. Attending as many live concerts as possible. Please note that my photos are current and were taken last month.
