I seek a marriage built on a covenant between one man and one woman who reflect Christ and the church, in which the man continuously loves the woman and gives up his life for her. They guard their purity of new heart, speech, and deeds. This man's personal ways include growing in, loving, and obeying God. He views a wife as a favor from God, a co-heir in Christ, and a treasure. He displays the light that God has caused to shine in his heart. He is learning Bible exegetically and systematically, and Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek languages. He also listens to such media teachers such as David Hocking, Chuck Missler. This man's personal interests encompass financial freedom, evangelism, mentoring, computers, electronics, rebuilding engines, some of most kinds of music, political involvement, natural diet and health, and fitness by swimming, lifting weights, and walking. He has rarely tasted alcohol, much less gotten drunk. These traits are packaged in a pensive analytical (INTP) man. A woman who will attract me fears the Lord and walks Spirit controlled. She has the integrity, wisdom, initiative, resourcefulness, and diligence of the Pro 31 woman. She walks in truth and love, continuously overcoming arrogance and selfishness because she is humble, teachable, discerning. She has relational problem resolving skills. She would submit to her husband and would understand why that is important to him as well as to her and to God. She is faithful, discrete, chaste, keeps home, and keeps no idols.
