I’m an ugly man but people use to call me cowboy. Sad, but true. My neighbors like me. They let me pet their dogs, and watch their kids, and stop to talk across the backyard fences. I’m the single guy who brings a huge tub of commercial potato salad to the potluck, because no one should eat my cooking. Old ladies ask me to fix their kitchen sinks, or stopped up toilets. Guys working on their cars ask me what I think. Other old men invite me to sit on the porch and listen to the ballgame. At church, I’m an usher if someone scheduled doesn’t show up. But every once in a great while, there’s a really bad problem. No one knows what to do. The new family that moved in? He beats his wife, and the kids. The neighbor’s dog break out of his backyard, and savages a child. A gang from another neighborhood is coming over and vandalizing things, trying to expand their turf. And someone tells me, in confidence, and the problem vanishes a few nights later. The vandalism stops. The dog runs off. The abusive spouse moves away, never to be heard from again. Because I don’t like my neighbors to be afraid. I like the cookouts, and the block parties, and the long summer evenings on porches, watching little kids chase fireflies. I’m a veteran, and sociopath, Those don’t define me, but they do effect how I solve problems. Which is with efficient brutality. So let me be a nice guy. Don’t invoke the other side, by being a really bad problem no one else knows how to solve. No one wants that. I am outgoing, dedicated, and open-minded. I get across to people and adjust to changes with ease. I believe that a person should work on developing their professional skills and learning new things all the time. Currently, I am looking for new career opportunities my current job position cannot provide
