Describing myself isn't my favorite thing to do. And I don't really have an ideal match in mind or any expectations for a match. I was reading an article and an ad popped up and I followed it to here and now I'm writing a profile?? With that said, I think most people who know me would describe me as quiet, calm and patient. All true, and I'm happy that those qualities shine through. I'm calm and quiet by nature but not shy and life has taught me endless patience. However there are a lot of layers underneath and there are expectations I put on myself as to the kind of person I strive to be. And I'm always a work in progress. Most importantly I expect honesty and wisdom. I try to stay positive and to find the good in everything and everyone around. I love to laugh and need to laugh and not take life too seriously. I like to be somewhat of the peacemaker among family, friends, and co workers when I feel it's my place because I know we can all get along. And finally, maybe some of the most important things I hold myself accountable for are to simply be kind, open minded, understanding, loving, compassionate, and to never judge. We are all here in this life doing the best we can with the tools we were given. We've all had ups, downs, highs and lows and I think it's important to always remember that and be aware of it and be there for each other wherever we are. Whoever we are I really don't believe in being selfish or finding happiness in material things. To live with myself I need to have a clean conscious and know that I'm doing my best to be a nice person. I don't find any of those things hard to do.I think that my close circle of friends is built of like minded people. I don't think that evolved intentionally but I do think it happened on purpose. Intuition is a powerful thing and it helps me know where I can easily be my true self and where I can put my trust. I do not claim to be or aspire to be a saint. My life has been far from perfect. I screw up and make mistakes all the time and have many regrets!! I'm just trying to do things right and I admire and respect those who are trying to do things right too.
