To begin with, I believe in knowing, as much as one can know in an online relationship, I will want to be as comfortable online before I meet anyone on a "first ideal date". I like to think I will know pretty much about the person I meet, before I meet them. So, that said, My first "ideal" date would preferably be at a very nice restaurant w/ a quiet setting for cocktails, and a place that is quiet enough for conversation, like a piano bar or quiet music in the background. I am not a fan of tattoos or an environment that is way too rowdy. As, you can tell by that statement, I came to FL from a different environment. If they are tastefully hidden, It might not matter. (LOL! i just made myself laugh..sounds very judgmental!!) I do not smoke, so a cigar bar will not be a place I would like to be invited to afterwards. A few nice quiet outings where we could get to know one another before we go out to a private place together is always a good beginning to learn each other in depth.
